An Ayurvedic Tradition for Holistic Healing During the Monsoon Season

Overview:
Karkitaka Chikitsa (also spelled Karkidaka Chikitsa) is a seasonal Ayurvedic wellness and detoxification program traditionally practiced during the Malayalam month of Karkidakam (July–August), coinciding with the monsoon season in Kerala and surrounding regions. It is a specialized healing regimen focused on strengthening immunity, detoxifying the body, rejuvenating tissues, and restoring balance to mind and body.
